DD Delay

This plug in is exemplary. I've downloaded paid delays that #1, didn't sound as good / weren't as versatile and #2, ate CPU. And the fact that this one is stereo adds another dimension. If you have this beauty there is no need to buy an expensive doubler, since this little gem is stereo you can easily make a guitar part sound double tracked by simply setting one channel slower than the other. Here's an example of how good this plug in sounds. I used it on both lead guitars, heavier dose on the first gtr to create doubling effect and a modest fattener on the second. Don't buy a delay, get this one. You will be delighted.

I find it hard to believe there was a time when I had mixed feelings about Dead Duck plugins. Every one uses modest amounts of cpu, sounds decent and does exactly what you want it to do without loads of additional controls to confuse matters. Great company. This delay is on a par with all their other underrated plugins.

Could have been a nice and delay... but with some sounds it sound pretty artificial, and there are often crackling sounds when changing the parameters. I really don't like DD Delay, but I have nothing but praise for other DD VST plugin, they are often nice and simple (eve if they usually don't come with presets... but who really cares for really simple effects).

Decent CPU usage and interface, but HY-Delay-4 Free is similarly low CPU but sounds a bit nicer
