AZR-3 is an emulation of a drawbar organ providing two keyboards and a pedal section.
It's not a close tonewheel emulation, but you can choose between different basic waveforms in addition to the "clean" sound of pure sine waves.

Could make some good music, but it's not realistic

I'm using Reaper. This plugin sounds great but unusable for me. It randomly spikes at a crazy db and then auto mutes the track on playback and rendering. I've tried Win 32 and the Win 64 and there's no difference. Once in a while it works fine but most times it doesn't. Someone mentioned using a limiter so I tried with three different kinds and no luck.
Same here. Sounds great but it has this random max peaking problem that shuts it down. Too bad.

Jon Lord would love it! Ok, there are VSTi with a more exciting GUI, but the sound is absolutly phantastic. And: The plugin comes with tons of great presets.
Es para Ableton? Y si no es, hay alguno?
excelente sinte
Does anybody have 64-bit VST version working with Cubase?
I would appreciate the help..

This for free? Amazing
I really like the sound of this one. The best by far. But, I wonder if anybody else has come across this problem. It randomly peaks to about 200 db and automutes. Sometimes I can work a whole afternoon on it without a problem. Other times, it does it every 3 or 4 seconds, rendering it unusable. It's very frustrating because the sound (especially the Leslie effect and the grit) is very authentic. The developer is no longer available. Perhaps he passed away? Anybody had this problem and found a solution to it?
I have experienced the same problem but can't find a solution.
Same with me - till now no solution. Thats a showstopper least for LIVE
Habe ich leider auch
Yes, I love this freebee, but there are ocassionally very loud random peaks. My suggestion to "solve" the problem: After this plugin I insert a brickwall-limiter (e.g. the free "LoudMax"). This will protect the output-stage in a simple and effectiv way.
Yes, same peaking problem observed here when using the x64 version. Placing a limiter vst after it seems to stop this happening though - a small price to pay for a good organ. I use easyLimiter - available in x64, light on resources and good (https://plugins4free.com/plugin/2525/).
I was having the same problem with x64 version. So far switching to the x32 is ok. I'm using this on Reaper v6.81, x64.
Scratch that. Switching didn't work for very long. Can't get through much playback before it peaks randomly and then mutes the track, and forget about rendering the session. I can't use this. Too unreliable.

I love it. So many parameters to toy with. I am trying to figure out how to trigger the rotating speakers effect from the TILT function of the Alesis Vortex Wireless 2. The TILT control/function of the Vortex is normally associated with the pitchwheel control/function and seems to be stuck there. Anyone?

Some lovely warmth and slight "dirt" in this one that I don't hear in many newer/fancier drawbar emulators. If you can run it, get it!

Are yall able to make the vibrato / leslie rotation speed change with your mod wheel on the keyboard? Mine isn't controlling it.
This one is ok, from Bach to Deep Purple!

Really nice for vst, but compared to Kawai Mp7 organ I would prefer the Kawai. Possibly EQ and better amp (Leslie) can make it. The posiblity to change Midi parameters and ADSR editing would be nice too. I also recognize a latency after I let a key off, and sorry but some registers doesn't sound clean to me, specially in the lower notes. And the following: in my case it runs stable then it crashs aproximately every 20 min. Is this plugin still in development ?
Unfortunatly, this VST is no more updated since 2006. But it's a very good one anyway IMHO... Try to contact the developer if you want more informations (link at the top of this page).

Uhhhh, If you ever played a drawbar.. you would then realize this is the best sounding freebie. It is remarkable in sound quality- I was 7 years old in 1975 - I was so turned on by my grandfathers room full of organs-on top of these drawbars and electrics were synths-vinatge now-i learned on them as they were still new- this sound of the AZR is the best out of all these here- get this ONE, the lord has commanded you.

I'm amazed, seeing the comments below was enough to convince me to try it and I'm glad I did. The sound really is uncannily authentic, it really is as good as we make it out.
