SL532 is based off of the standard console EQ module found on a “5000 series” modern console.

The SL532 provides the features found on the original hardware.  This 3-band EQ is perfect for shaping sounds quickly in your mix.  It also includes a “color” circuit that when activated adds a bit of color to the sound that adds an vintage analog feel.
  • 3-band EQ based off of a modern console.
  • Fixed 150Hz low shelf filter, variable mid-band from 80Hz to 8KHz, and selectable 8KHz or 16KHz high shelf filter.
  • Color circuit that adds an vintage analog feel.
  • Selectable High Pass Filter.
  • Very CPU efficient.

I absolutely love this EQ. Very tweakable, nice analogue style interface, and the hi-shelf especially adds something I just can't get out of any other digital EQ.

I normally really like the SL plugins. This one sounded kinda cheap and tacky somehow though. Works fine and uses minimal cpu anyway so it's definitely useable.

It's the x10 setting that causes the loud click, but to me this seems like just a minor inconvenience, I use this and other smacklabs plugins on almost all my projects, I can't live without them, I hope the author continues to work on stuff like this, they're so underrated it's criminal.

None of the Smaklabs plugins load in to Reaper. Only his Logic Channel works fine. It's a pity, the Logic Channel is very good but can't try the rest.

Found the was some conflict with another plug. Now it works. Another amazing plug from Smaklabs. Haven't noticed any peaks so far, works just fine.

Nice eq filter, not sure if it has random spikes which causes the master channel to surge way into the red causing bad noise and clipping.. could be pilot error, but it's the only filter that does it.
