Mr Ray is an Electric Piano emulation.
It is capable of producing the sound of the Electric Pianos of the seventies, like the Fender Rhodes and the Wurlitzer EP, as well as the FM Piano.

It's absolutely amazing! If you're willing to play around with the settings, you can get AMAZING results! THANK YOU GSI!!!

There's a really loud buzzing sound when it plays notes. The sound is louder than the piano itself.
You have to press 24 keys at once to get rid of it. It'll happen every time you change a pickup style. That's why this plugin is made donationware instead of a buyable one.

I have enough EP to not bearing noises.
We should all aspire to have Dedede's perfect grammar <3

People are bashing this plugin for no reason. It offers everything you need in an Electric Piano, and beyond. It is a very capable little freebie (well, if you know what you're doing).

Nag screen annoying, good sounds but Lazy Snake is better IMHO

It's not perfect, but sounds quite good. Sometimes notes are hanging with a few presets. Sometimes I hear some noise sounds. Was searching for a free Rhodes sound, for that the sound could be better, but it's okay.

I think I like the sound of the plugin a lot, but the nag screen stays up for several minutes, and the address plate never goes away, making the plugin unusable for me to test and play with. Sorry, but I can't use it this way.
It's free to try. Pay if you like. I'm paying for it.
When i load it, it looks like the GUI is broken.
This nag screen is up for a few seconds only, then the GUI will work as expected.
Why do I keep getting a buzzing noise?
If you use FL Studio, check "use fixed size buffers" on vst wrapper processing options to get rid of the noise.

The synth sounds good, but it's broken. Getting loads of feedback(?)) and buzzing that just gets louder indefinitely.
Check your piano roll, it happens whens you've got two of the same MIDI note at once. Move the MIDI note to once side and you'll see another one underneath it

Bet Mr. Ray is using DPiano-E or Elektrik Keys instead. :-)

Not sure why so many people like this one, there are way better free EPianos out there like DPiano-E, Elektrik Keys, 4Front Epiano and EP 2008.
yea we get it but it works and its a good vst. God its almost as if you copy and paste the same comment
I love this vst. Also been using VB3 version 1.4 which is the best. It also has an Fx.dll for the Leslie effect that can be used with a real Hammond if you don't have the real speaker!!

One of the best electric pianos I've used, free or not. My only complaints are with the saturation and the space echo being a little limited. But of course, you can do that with other plugins, it just takes an extra step! Highly recommend!

just the best Electric Piano I never seen!!!!!!! not five stars... but ten!!!
Excellent. been using for some years now. Has it's quirks (just slam your elbows across as many keys as you can when first loading, then all is fine, no glitches or squeaks) Actually prefer this to my other emulations.
Can get dirty and soulful, so worth tinkering with. And free !!!
Absolutely terrible. This just blew my eardrums out with an insane amount of some kind of feedback. I should sue you instead of donate. Thanks for wasting my time.
I guess you never heard en electric piano!! you dont know what is an electric piano

Fender Rhodes sound. Very good preset variety of sound, chorus, delay. Great work

A very good quality FREE vst, which is a kind "all in one". Personaly i hear much more harmonics in many GSI plugs (close to originals) than by others for free.

Great fun, and almost every preset is useful.

It's good but I am getting some noise when I hit alot of notes. Could just be me
Yeah, I don't get why it does that. It may be a dealbreaker for me, because you just cant have that sound in a track like that

whoa! Try putting ohm force frohmage on this...
