My go to plugin but it has a bug/issue where when I enable the eq section it seems to bypass the filter section and when I disable the filter section it mutes the output even if the plugin was reloaded/refresh (so I've just keep using an external high/low pass filter or another instance of this plugin) other than that it's quite a decent plugin
I 100% encounter the exact same glitch when I enable the eq section, it it bypasses the filter section. Other than that, this plugin is amazing.

Not sure about the compressor. Not as fat sounding as my favourite compressor.
I like the EQ though. Very smooth and natural but still an effective tone shaper. It's not like one of these EQs that sound good but are so subtle that they aren't much use. Shame the EQ and Comp sections aren't available as separate plugins. CPU usage seems average.

Great plugin. Comp is more aggressive that the "other" Wannabe one but at the same time this VST sounds more alive and not as dead.

Wow the comp! What a great comp, none of the spitting or snare popping like with most comps at slow attack. Very tight and yes very like SSL. Didn't think much of it at first glance but I'm sold. Thank you Smacklabs.

It´s a difficult discussion: How "real" is this free plugin? I personally can say that the EQ works very, very precise and the COMP has an aggressive touch (both similar to the general behaviour of the original hardware). But the most important thing to me is: There are many tips and tricks (in books or online) from great engineers based on the settings of an classic SSL desk. With this free plugin you can learn a lot! Just "translate" the settings from some youtube- hardware -tutorials to this plug and listen what happens...
