VOLA is a voice optimized leveling amplifier.
It was originally made for broadcast voice dynamics processing, but it works well with all kinds of material, like drums and synth pads. VOLA aims to sound clean, but can be used for extreme compression effects as well.

- Upwards & downwards compression, each separately adjustable.
- Very soft knee compression gradually turning to limiting at "Push Down" point.
- Visual metering for changes in dynamics.
- Statistics display.
- LF Filter: Several low frequency filtering presets with different cut-off frequencies and Q-values.
- Attack Mode: Several attack presets from zero to 1 sec.
- Push Down: Amount of downward compression.
- Pull Up: Amount of upwards compression.
- Recovery: Changes recovery speed. -10 is the slowest and 0 the fastest.
- HF De-Emphasis: Controls how much high frequencies can affect the dynamics compression. Useful for vocals for keeping sibilants at bay.
- Flt Side Chain: Puts the LF filter into compressor side chain, instead of the main input. The LF Filter must be active for this to take effect.
- Display Speed: The speed of the gain reduction display. Selectable between 1 - 10 seconds.

I use this for very peaky bass guitar when everything else fails. This plug will level anything without making it sound compressed. I've found nothing else that works so effortlessly. Thank you Sonic Anomaly

Someone needs to write a fan manual, a tutorial or youtube video on how to use this. Its great but there is absolutely no support for the newbies ,i checked the web. Nada. Anyone willing to at least write a comment explaining how to use it?

Did nothing that I could discern.
Gain staging is one of the harderst things to learn, if you didn't recognize the utility of this plugin it might be a sign that you should be working on training your ears or changing your speakers.
I suspect rjjrdq needs a more fundamental class, like what a compressor REALLY does, and other fundamentals of audio

Your daw should have some sort of feature built inside of the FX insert menu to save user presets.
Okay so in freshly installed Windows 10 and went crazy why the plugins do not load. Turns out I have to disable bottom-ASLR in the exploit protection. Dev website is down. You think we ever get an updated version of this?!
