Plugin doesn't save any presets (pizzicato, arco etc. or even volume and other) - How can I save them?

Like most virtual string instruments, this one sounds awesome for pads but super fake as soon as you try to play a melody. Nice sounds for chords anyway.
Can't get it to load in Reaper MacOS 12.4
The AU version of this library does not work on MacOS Catalina or later. Use the SFZ version from the official Versilian Studios website instead; there is an instructional video and more information there.

The plugin is awesome! I really needed a violin and this one is amazing!

Doesn't sound that great, quite scratchy. Doesn't save my settings when i load up my project file either, forgets that it's supposed to be set to the pizzicato mode etc.
When I open the VST on ableton, it says "No instruments found" Can anybody help me plsss
You need to keep the instruments folder -that came with the download- in the same directory as the dll file. That is where it expects the instruments to be

This is an awesome free instrument! But I have just a question: Do the notes on the VST instruments match the notes that are being played? The violin's SE lowest note is one octave higher than the instrument's lowest G note. Is it transposed? If there are transposed instruments, I would like to know this information because I need to change my orchestrations. Thanks!

Gorgeous! And downloading the individual instruments seems to have cleared up the crashing issue I was having with the VSCO2 Orchestra. Easy fix! One question: when I load my project, I find that the articulation resets; in my case, it's the spiccato resetting to arco vib. Perhaps I'm overlooking something? I'm using Reaper, if that is any help.
Add a keyswitch (a midi note from the yellow range on the keyboard) for the articulation you wish to trigger at the beginning of the piece. This is standard best practice for keyswitch-based virtual instruments.
Thank you, that solved it! I did not know about keyswitches. I was making new instances of the plugin on a new track for every different articulation. Thanks again for the response!
I am standing back in amazement. Its so good!! It is a must have for your vst plugin library.
Hi. I'm having a problem installing it, I copied the entire zip folder, and extracted into the vst folder of fl, but it's not showing up on fl studio. Is there any step or installation I'm missing?
in the step sequencer, right click>insert>more>refresh>fast scan>vst appears in red>click the box next to the vst to enable it// it should show up in the instrument selection for vst's now to load and play midi
How to change articulation? what are keyswitches

Why does the violin range starts in G4 ? shouldn't it be start in G3 ? tnx
I think the thing is one octave downpitched

I cant change the articulation groups, you had the same issue?
You have to use the keyswitches.

Best VST Ever!
How do you make it work in FL Studio? When I copy the .dll and the "32 bit - Instruments" folder into /image-line/fl studio/plugins/vst folder and in fl studio, [Channels], Add one, more>, then refresh. And when fl studio tries to load the vst, this happens. There was a problem opening "(VST)" for an unknown reason, please make sure it has been installed correctly.
You should copy whole folder in it with .zip file and extract it in the vst folder and then refresh it...will work :)

Have a great sound, I love it
Hi BigCat :) Thanks for all your VSTs. Do you haver any plans to create a stand-alone VST of the VSCO tubular bells? I have VSCO and they sound great, but they are panned mainly to the left. It would be nice to have the bells panned evenly across the stereo picture. No problem if you have no plans to create this. Thanks again for all that you share, love your VSTs :)
