Instalooper is a live looper.
It is loops the incoming audio on the fly : with trigger buttons to loop the audio, and knobs to change the loop duration. It is synced with the host. Once looped you can adjust the speed and/or add an effect on the audio loop.

This is easy to use and produces great results but I can't find a way to record the output on another track in my Cubase DAW. It seems limited to live work, not studio recording.

64 bit version lags in fl studio, to work with the 32-bit version in the wrapper options, enable the external window for adequate operation of the interface
Or enable the "make bridged in "plugin wrapper->proccesing"

Nice! it is limited only by your imagination which is seriously limited by the one bar limitation. In consequence limited stars rating. This is like you are starved to death and someone offer you a delicious food for free, but with the caveat that you can only eat a tablespoon Otherwise it is amazing!

Under "Loop 1" Set "Size" to 1 Bar, right click On/Off = Instant HalfTime. Very Useful! A 2 bar+ option would be great, but overall totally awesome.

Why is one bar the biggest possible loop? Completely useless.
Is it really? Lol not even gonna bother.
Hope you found mobius

An excellent plugin. The fact you can automate the loop layers offers some powerful possibilities. A little more control over FX would be great, however, that does not detract from how good this plugin is.
Can be used to apply "gross beat" effect in real time.
