PTEq-X is a digital emulation of 3 famous vintage passive program equalizers.
It has been developed to have all the characteristics of the original hardware, plus some circuit improvements and additional features to increase its versatility. Every single component on the signal path of the real analog circuit has been taken into account and modeled in the best possible way to match the original sound, keeping an eye on CPU performance and real-time playability at the same time. PTEq-X is meant to be used as a studio equalizer for tracking, mixing and mastering inside hosts capable of VST or AU Plug-Ins support.

Too clean for me. i don't hearing the typical analog saturate generator, who does the avantage of an "old vintage" EQ.

My mixbus go-to EQ. This works very much like the originals, albeit perhaps a bit more subtle...which isn't a negative, really. There's a lot of Pultec-alikes out there, but this one lives up to its progenitor.

Mixing and mastering engineers often prefer passive EQ and usually advise you to cut or lower unwanted frequencies rather than boosting ones that are too low, as it gives a more natural sound. This Pultec passive EQ clone is great, sounds fab. Thank you very much Ignite Amps. Top quality!

Mixed a whole track with it recently, Drum Bus, Guitars, Bass, Vocals. The combination of the high and lowcut unit together with the program eq and the mid eq makes this such a powerful and great sounding tool with those sexy pultec curves!!! THANK YOU!!! Unbelievable it's free and also for mac!!!!!
