Shred Suite

The Shred Suite features 6 versatile amp heads ranging from warm, sweet, clean tones to hair-raising metal thunder.
  • Shred: A metal and hard rock powerhouse, the SHRED head is all about rocking out.
  • Enthalpos Median: Enthalpos is all poweramp, the wildcard of the bunch.
  • Supersound 1972: Dark and doomy, the Supersound is right at home churning out early Sabbath-style ethereal drones.
  • Marvel: The Marvel is an all-rounder, capable of crystalline cleans and thunderous British crunch.
  • Quarter: Pure, classic clean tones and fantastic mild break-up, the Quarter is a bluesman's dream.
  • Honken: The Honken kicks out Classic British tone, fantastic for sweet, glassy cleans and great crunch.
Perhaps the most interesting feature of Shred is the feature that allows you to create a head that suits you: AcmeBarGig's 'Frankenamp' technology allows you to select the parts from any of the other heads and mix and match them for a sound all your own. You like the bass from the Marvel head? Add its bass knob. Want the Gain of the Shred Head? Add its Gain section.

Shred comes with 6 built-in stereo out rack effects and a cabinet / room simulator.

It is simple and easy to use, but it also has a very good tone quality. I use it on CbB and Mixcraft 9 ProStudio and it's still worth it...Tq

It's a shame, I bet your dog really misses that 60khz to 70khz range.

Hey Tony, way to show your ingorance on the subject. If you knew anything about digital recording, you'd know what he was talking about.

Great sounds and tons of features, unfortunately not stable (use 2 machines in one song) and graphical error while knobs turning.

For metal tones this kicks the ass of every amp/cab sim I've spent real money on. Incredible quality especially for free. Everyone looking to create high-gain tones with software, you owe it to yourself to try this. If you can't do it in Shred, you probably can't do it with software.

I didn't have high expectations for this, but it genuinely surprised me. It comes with a bunch of amps, cabs, and some effects. Its gate is really nice and subtle, so the feedback's always down to a minimum, and just over all, everything sounds nice, especially for free. I used this in Reaper and it didn't give me one problem. This is a must have for metalheads with a small budget.
