This is the best saxophone on this website. What a pity that it is no longer compatible with macOS 12 and above and therefor not compatible with logic pro and gerageband. :-(((

im on mac and my ableton crashes when i want to switch from tenor sax to soprano sax or even tweak the velocity curve. please help!

I have the same problem, neither Mac or Ableton seem to like the plugin as much as I do. Was working fine until i started using it on a newer Mac. downloading another version now.

Sounds good. Sax is tough to replicate cause of the breath and force of playing. A nice amount of reverb and learning how to try and imitate a sax helps.
How do I install on macbook air? It downloads as a zip but not sure what to do from there. Thanks!
You need to open the zip, right click or command and you need to move the au/ax? File to a specific folder. In PC it is program files-vst plugins. You need to move it to the place your raw looks for your plugins and vsts

Sounds great, but I'm having some weird anomalies when I render my project files with the sax. Every now and then it'll just hit completely the wrong note despite it sounding completely normal in the project file. Any ideas why that is or how to fix it?
Just realised that it can actually happen outside of the render as well, also I'm using Reaper as my DAW if anyone is curious.
I have the same problem! Did you find a fix for this, love the sound but have to replace it if I can't sort this
I've had exactly the same problem using this vst in Reaper - random wrong notes in the render. I found a work round — solo the sax track and render it, bring it back in as a seperate audio track. Seems to work. But It'd be good to have a proper solution.
Again, this sounds too good to be true... I love the idea and the approach, but for "xyz reasons" I have come to this site many times and finally left, frustrated. I am using Forte 10, a great German music software and its tells me over and over: "That is not a valid VST". So: ¿What am I doing wrong?. Help, please... Thank you.
This plugin seems to be incompatible with your software, try to contact Forte 10 support... Maybe they can help.

This sounds amazing
It's not clear if DSK Saxophone is a 100% royalty free sampled instrument if you use it. There is no end-user license agreement included, nor is there any terms on the DSK Music website, except for the large package of instruments available, but it's not clear if you need to buy that in order to get DSK Saxophone 100% royalty free. Until the owner makes it clear it's just not a good idea to use this on commercial recordings, no matter how it sounds.
There's license info, though I have no clue how to get to it outside of Googling

Works beautifully in Presonus Studio One. Load the complete folder in Windows program files/Vstplugins. works with midi file in your DAW.

If you r havin troubles to install in ableton try to know about your version (64x ou 32x) and copy ALL paste file to you VST dll host

Soprano is superb
Having trouble loading this into Ableton Live 9. I am able to load the pack into my places folder but cannot open any instruments from there. Help!
Hey guys, my Vst is coming up in ableton live 9 as "Cannot find instruments". I have ableton live 9 Standard 9.7.1 64-bit
Copy all from the zip just like it is, the dll file and the folder containing the mse file.

Love the sounds on this one. EXCEPT- for the vibrato. anyone know of a way to control / revise the vibrato? it is horrible and unnatural. DVS Saxophone has a lovely, natural vibrato. Sadly it is a deal breaker, any sustained note ends with this horrible vibrato. Which is a shame, because I love the sounds, otherwise.

I'm having this problem with a couple of VST's now.. It loads up after I put the .dll file in the appropriate folder for my D.A.W, but the VST can't find any instruments? Obviously I'm missing something...? =( . Please help =D
Copy all the zip content, not only the dll.
Same problem I have in Mixcraft...I've put all content and still doesn't work.DSK instruments crash and fail in Mixcraft.Such a shame as they make good sounds...
Try "updating" or "rebuilding" the vsts in the DAW. Look up your DAW info to see how to do that.
