Gigmate is an emulation of the 1981 Concertmate MG-1 synthesizer.
It uses side by side monophonic & polyphonic modes that gives you 3 oscillators under each key and can lead to some amazing and unique sounds.

- Monosynth with Polyphonic string section.
- Quirky features which first showed up on the 1981 Concertmate MG-1 are properly implemented.
- The GUI overlays a complex audio processing algorithm giving the Gigmate an authentic analog sound.
- Midi Learn for all parameters; Patch memory system with full library.
- Sample & Hold , Ring Modulation, Osc sync, audio frequency LFO, and more besides...

So I really enjoyed the sound of this, but after using it for some time in Reaper without issue, it stopped loading I downloaded a fresh copy, but when I tried to load got the same result. Tried to force open through Reaper and got an OFFLINE message, which is puzzling. Sad to lose this...

Any chance of a 64 bit version?
Eso lo puedes canbiar de 32 bits a 64 bits es sencillo
Played with the real one during the 70s in Radio Shack and I remember I loved the sounds and the look. This VST is a good emulation. Very easy to arrive at strange sounds, which I love. Some knobs do a lot with barely turning them, very cool. This synth is better than most of my paid synths. Manx Rock!

I was lucky enough to have used the magical Concertmate MG-1 for a few months, unfortunately I had to let it go. I still remember its distinct character, the modulation/poly, the character of the resonant filter sounded extremely unique. Even though Moog has released way more expensive complex synths there was definitely something special about the MG-1. This is a very close emulation of the original, highly recommended.

I have an MG-1 that was the first synthesizer I purchased. Still own it. Still use it. Made an Apple ][+ interface card for it to make it into a CV controlled sequencer when I was in high school. I loved this thing. My real MG-1 still works and I still use it. This VSTi is PERFECT!!! IT not only recreates all of the idiosyncrasies of the MG-1, but it makes it so I can save them as patches! GREAT JOB!!!

I absolutely love this! The presets are great and it's very easy to make good sounds yourself! It barely uses any of my cpu which is also good. 5/5

Good work, the analog synth emulation sounds very good. Thank you very much for this freeware.
The Concertmate was made by Moog for Radio Shack. I had one. Loved the Bejebbers out of it. An affordable mono synth for a broke guitarist. I made many home demos with it.

I've never heard a Concertmate synth, so unsure of how true this sound is to the original. But this synth is certainly accurate generally to the analogue synths of 1980/81. Knock down the filter cutoff, gives some really sweet sub bass sounds. Really nice simple synth, grab it! Thank you very much you Manx Cats
