BIGROOMKIX SYNTH is specifically created for making Kick Drums and Bass Drums.
It uses no samples only 100% synthesis to achieve a thick meaty UMPH to your track with ultimate control to the sound. The sound is split into 4 sections, SUB, BODY, TRANSIENT and HAT/NOISE with lots of controls to fine-tune each characteristic of the layer. It has a compressor an EQ boost and a Key Select. You can even change the background colour.

In the 1.2 update is added midi learn support, user pitch envelopes and new distortion method, and the AIR knob.

Works Very Well : ) I Use Jbridge to convert into 64 bit. it's more than worth for FREE!
It's 2020, everything is 64 bit. Wake up and get with the times.
Don't provoke him. Just because It's 2020, he could really convert it to 64bit and make you pay for it...

I can make bass drum sound I really like 5 start for audio. But there is some wonky programming going on, so if I start or stop this during a jam, I get a ton of crackling audio. Can not be trusted for live use at all. Sad as I liked the sound a lot.
Superb! Can't believe it's free. You can produce almost any bass drum sound or effect with this plugin. Just unbelievable. The only con is it actually is a CPU-hog on 32-bit system – about 50% while working with it in LMMS.

The heavy CPU loading Comes from the 32 Bit I think ... This in 64bit on a 64bit Operating sytem would work much better ;)
i've used this vst several years ago.. and i think the cause of cpu problem is the GUI.. when i tweaked it, i used the GUI.. when i didnt use it i turn it of..
i use reaper so there is an option to turn off GUI of any vst.. i don't know about any other host..

Had been using V1.1 (as still available from BPB) in FL Studio for quite some time and really liked the sound. Had two issues after upgrading to V1.2 (replacing V1.1): 1.) Preset list did not display properly (strange characters). Turning on 'Allow threaded processing' in the VST wrapper fixed that. 2.) In old projects that had been created with V1.1, all BRKS settings were lost. In the VST wrapper, the radiobutton 'Allow threaded processing' was 'off'. Turning it on and pushing the 'Reload plugin' button pulled up the default V1.2 settings, but did not bring back the saved settings. Renaming the .dll of V1.2 allowed to keep both versions. Enjoying V1.2: The new pitch envelope aids in shaping the kick sound. The recording feature is excellent. To record, right-click on the 'Record' button on the lower right to arm, then right-click on the central drum pad until the sound has stopped. Tutorial available on YouTube.

Works great, sounds great, has great presets too. Eats cpu a little too much.
Very nice synth! Works really well straight out of the box. Would gladly pay $20+ for this

Great Sound!!!
Can be useful to make hardstyle kicks, thanks!
Now that's what I like to hear XD lol
Finally after more than 25 years the fuzz of making a decent kick has ended! Combine them with those in Groove Agent and you'll get awesome fat kicks!

This is really nice tho one sound crapped out after a while. However, I think it was becos of a conflict with my daw. Or an overload.. or something. No problem. I made a stem track. And off to the races!
