This used to be so death, until within the past two years on two different computers no sound goes into the plugin. Disables plugin (reaper) sound comes though. So sad....
I dont know if anyone else has had this issue but when I press to disable the cab, it doesn't disable and stays active, anyone know a fix?
Same for me, the cab cannot be disabled. I actually would like to try out some of my own IRs if I could...

Who needs the darkglass vst when you can run two amazing vsts TSE BOD and Bass Grinder for free and get the same gnarly tone??? I'd rate higher than 5 if I could! love the options too. here are my settings on both using a squier jazz bass, both pickups at full and tone just a smudge up. https://i.imgur.com/Ixp74BX.png
Thank you for sharing your idea of a cool signalchain! I will try it.
Jessyka thank you!!

Hi! The plugin is very nice. I just want to know how i use this ona Bus channel on stereo, i tryed but it just sounds Mono, any help?
Hey Gustav. In my opinion, this is a bass processor meant for shreded guitar bass sounds. Using this to warm up a drum buss or whatever buss really doesn't sound like the best approach. It is simply too aggressive. Also, bass processors should output mono because of Mono-compatibility issues.
Hi Gustav, this plugin is made to simulate an overdriven mono-bass-amp. Yes, you can use it also for experimental tasks like "bus-smashing" without any regular stereo-option. But there is hope: Here on "plugins4free" you can find many stereo-tube´n´drive-plugins which works great...

Outstanding. I record my bass parts through an audio interface, then run it through this amp VST with the gain turned up. I skip the built-in cab (it's OK but nothing special) and instead use Seacow Darkglass bass cabinet impulse responses. The resulting bass tone is amazing for rock and metal. Fat and huge, with subtle overdrive that helps the bass to fit in with distorted guitars.

Excellent plugin. I use it on bass synths and guitars. You can get really thick bass sounds with this.
thanks, good sound, very easy to use

Love the tone!! Don't use Vst's that much for recording (mostly mic'ed Amps and direct boxes) but this made things easy for dialing in the Bass a lot easier... thank you
Really awesome

This is actually a remarkable plugin, especially for free. Wee worth it if you're looking to spice up a bass tone

I love this. Can definitely get a big heavy tone, but twist some knobs and you can tame it down to something softer. I haven't tried the cab simulation as I use NadIR and RedWirez

This is an amazing app, I love.

Freakin awesome. Metallica, Motorhead, many other great tones available. I use a comp and/or eq up front and a convoluted room verb after.
