Exitixe is a a spectral enhancer.
It is based on the famous BBE Sonic Maximizer process. Not only an EQ, it phases the high harmonics (with harmonic distortion) with the lows.

Though I already have some free exciter plugins, some of which are pretty good but this one really allows you to use your ears since there is no parameter markings like what is mentioned by another comment here. Even on it's lowest setting it already sounded good plus the simple interface makes it user friendly especially to newbies on music production

I love this plugin, it sounds great. Easily the best of all the Exciters I have tried. The only thing I would like is for it to also work on mono tracks, not just on stereo tracks.

Every enhancer seems a little different, but most are very good. In some audio situations, this one performs better than others.

My Cubase 7,5 crashes when i try to activate it.
