Simple and effective piano module.
Its unique Width Control not only controls panning of notes across the keyboard but at high settings adds a psychoacoustic widening effect adding a touch of room ambience and spaciousness to the sound. The muffling filter is much more gentle than the filters found on samplers so is useful for recreating the acoustic damping present in a real piano.

Nice piano, it has jazz & lofi vibes

Dont be fooled, despite the very rudimentary and dated UI, this has good sounds. Not for everyone, but its decent and thats all you need sometimes.

I think i've been using this since 2006 or something like that and i still find this to be one of the better VSTi pianos out there! Undoubtly the absolute best free VSTi piano for sure!

Compared to most other free vsts, this is one of the best sounding, and surprisingly realistic/passable. With enough tweaking, I can make it cut through the mix, and it works for most popular styles I write in. This is coming from someone who has extensively scoured the world wide web, for EVERY humongous multi-gigabyte soundfont I can possibly find!

Bright pianos are it's strong point. Agree with JustJoe - better than expected. Presets are MDA, Plain, Compressed, Dance (flange-y), Concert, Dark, School, and - surprised no one mentioned this, "Broken" - a unique patch that captures the wonderful dissonance of a piano badly in need of tuning (the pitch changes with velocity - they thought of everything!) It's worth a test drive just for that patch. It sounds like note decay uses the looping trick, a common practice to keep sample sizes down. I'm having trouble with the sustain pedal, but I assume the problem is not this plugin, but somewhere upstream.
With reverb and compressor tools, this mda-piano sounds just great, like a real concert piano. Very realistic. I didn't expect that. Plain, school and concert are the best.

After piano one and numerous soundfonts, this one is still my favourite among the freebies.

Out of all the other free piano VST across the net, this one is one of the best for working with electronic music-You armed with a decent EQ and Reverb plugin(there are number of great ones here) You will have excellent results with your music-this one sounds pretty convincing it maybe a 'real piano' when the track is mastered and cut on MP3-It's all how you master your tracks.

I've tried to find the best FREE piano plug-in and after searching for a long time this one seems to be the best. At least for my use, which is ambient electronica. It does tend to hit a bit hard at times, but overall it's great.

Get this downloaded alongside Glaceverb vst and a chorus !!

Don't think too much just download this useful and realistic piano vst. Believe me it's best. Works great on open mpt.

Very Nice! Works better with effects and blended with other pianos/instruments!

Quite good. Maybe the sound is not perfect (feeling synthetic a bit), but the plugin has interesting parameters to set to make it sound the way need it to. Small and not consuming too much CPU power.

If you get the settings just right, it sounds excellent. If you let the notes ring out too long it sounds really unnatural though.

Better than fl keys.

It's decent... Only one preset but you can tweek it.

Another MDA great plugin, that found many uses in my music during the last 9 or 10 years. The sound is good and fits in the mix so well, great for layering (even to add an extra character blended with other better sounding acoustic pianos plugs). GUI is simple, but it works nicely. There are even some presets. Really useful in many situations! 4/5

Simple, but effective vst. Quite convincing piano sound, but the decay sounds quite unnatural, so use lots of reverb.

Worth downloading, simple interface but sounds nice. Yeah theres some that are better, but you could do far far worse. 4/5
