Ironhead is a multi-part percussion synth designed to create synthetic junk percussion sounds.

Ironhead has been designed to provide sounds that will likely be different from the other percussion sources you have - increasing the chances of you finding something that will spice up your tracks while minimizing the chances of overlap with your existing synths and samples. This lets Ironhead work well not just as a primary percussion source, but also as a secondary source for layering with loops and other drum synths.

Great sounds, but every once in a while the sound will randomly only come out of one ear. This ultimately ruins the experience when it randomly decides to show up in a recording. I wouldn't be surprised if the creator did this because this is a "free" version.

With 128 presets this does the trick. Lots of ways to adjust the sound per hit. Good for all those who want different percussion sounds. Winner.

HOLY CRUD! I've been looking for something for this for a while now! A completely synthesized drum machine with an industrial feel! Never thought I'd come across one for free! This can give you some of the most interesting percussion I've heard from a free drum machine vst! Thank you so much ugo audio!

This is an excellent plug. Between this and DLM Impakter, I am finally able to get some sounds away from the norm for writing. I have been having to program and sample synths and this gets rid of the workload a bit. The warping capabilities also make it extremely attractive as well. No Linn, 909, or 808...never a dull moment with these plugs. Check out Ugo Mettalurgy (multi FX) on his site as it does some great things as well.
