VS Upright 1 is a clean sampling of an upright piano, the standard of homes, small clubs and studios around the world.
With a broad dynamic range and a bright, clear tone, the upright can still display a soft side when needed.

- 3 velocity layers, 2x RR, sampled in tritones to reduce size.
- Full decays of up to 30 seconds recorded.
- Recorded stereo from up close and personal for most realism.

NOTE: The MacOS version of this library will not work on MacOS Catalina or newer. Please visit the Versilian Studios website and download the 'SFZ' version. There is a video with instructions there as well. The SFZ version is better than the Windows VSTi version too, we fixed some issues with timing and improved the sample set overall, so we recommend people use it instead of that too.
After i installed the vst plugin on ableton live 11 the plugin cant find any instruments please assist me
Unfortunately GarageBand (High Sierra) keeps crashing because of this piano.

спасибо! классный звук!
The VST does not appear in Cubase after I download it, even though I have indicated the exact folder in which to find the file. How can I get this to work?? This is the first VST I have ever downloaded btw, so maybe I have not done it correctly!

Realistic upright piano
Rapaz, ele tem um atraso no timbre, complicado, eu queria fazer uma base de reggae mas nao deu certo nao
Trying to import the piano into pro tools. Have followed all the instructions but nothing...any ideas?
The sound is incredible, the best piano, but have a problem with the time, so... I compose something and I listen other thing, a very little different music interpretation time. In the other hand, the sound is really the best. So, is good enough for use, but need a very little calibrate for have the perfection. Anywhere, is just better than almost any plugin that cost much mnoney
Set to low latency
I really like the warm and natural sound of this piano but sadly I find it unplayable because of its sluggish response! Playing it, it feels similar to when you set the latency of your audio interface too high. Also, the jumps between velocite layers are very noticeable.
There's a "secret" remastered version of Upright No. 1 which was re-cut from scratch in VCSL (along with some better pianos), but it's all in SFZ format and the files haven't been backported to the VST's, although Bigcat as usual has some Kontakt patches of VCSL- https://github.com/sgossner/VCSL/tree/sfz
Awesome! people breathing in the background? What the fuck are you all about ?
Is it just me, or does this piano... swing some of the notes? :s Does anybody else have this problem? Is there any way to solve it?
It's like it doesnt work in fl 9.

Has clicks n stuff, and on some keys you can hear people breathing in the background, it sounds ok.
I can't seem to get it to load in FL Studio 11... :/ FL will find VS Upright, but when I attempt to load it into the sequencer, it says "cannot find any instruments" in the fruity wrapper panel. What am I doing wrong?
You must include the .instruments folder with the .dll file when you copy and paste it into your plugins directory. Just copy and paste them both in together!
Same problem

Love this vst! It sounds a lot like the piano Bob Dylan used in his early recordings!

So far this is the best piano VST plugin thus far. Been looking for a vst plug-in like this for ages. Piano One doesn't work and every other piano plugin I searched for didn't work or wasn't worth the download. Came across this plugin and I must say so far this is the best ever. Great sound, and it sounds like the real thing. Also works in Reaper. NOTE: To anyone using Reaper you must load the dll. file and preset file into Reaper in order for it to work. Thanks for sharing this fantastic plugin.

Very good Piano and the best is that it's free.

This is one of the best of the free pianos out there! I think the 4front Piano sounds a little better in the middle and lower octaves, especially in mono, but when it comes to the higher notes, VS Upright wins easily. Actually the higher keys are possibly the best reproductions I've heard to date. This is s a must-have for that reason.

The best free piano VST I've found so far, and the only one I found that I would record with. Simple and effective. It's a sampled piano, not a synth, so it sounds like a real piano. Really shines with a sustain pedal. I first used the free demo of EZKeys Upright, the one that keeps detuning so you can't record with it. This VST is much better. Five Stars, Two Thumbs Up! Great job Versilian Studios!
