Way better than most people would expect. While it doesn't sound like steel drums, the sounds are still very usable.

Sounds absolutely nothing like a steel drum. It's more like a bell. You're better off with BellSynth.

It sounds like someone sampled glass against metal, pitched it to three different octaves, and played all three at once. I'm actually being serious, too. If you try it, keep the volume down.
