Triple Cheese is a unique-sounding comb filters synthesizer.
Triple Cheese doesn't use any of the classic synthesis techniques – substractive, FM or additive – but various forms of comb filter i.e. very short chromatically tuned delays. The three cheese modules in a row either generate their own signal, or process the output of the previous module.

Glad they updated the UI. Looks much more pleasant now! Btw the video is still showing the old version.

I mean it's nice that they simplified it for the layman, but for us cheese-heads it really dampens the experience. Not hating just saying you should reconsider a different perspective.

Ever had that moment of: "Great track, but it needs something"? Well, here it is: Triple Cheese is an excellent synth for such a thing, especially when you need something to stand out.

You can get amazing almost realistic acoustic sounds with this. If you work a bit with the Stringy Preset you can get a fairly convincing string ensemble sound. You can make many plucked string sounds with the Karplus-Strong oscillators although you should use the Resonator and Stressor filters to tone it from plastic to more organic. It's a hidden gem for physical modelling. U-He outdid themselves again!

Unique concept. If you tried this before, try it again. I hated it the first time, now I love it and I'm giving it five stars like it deserves. They updated it to a completely different interface, it doesn't even look like the same synth anymore (ignore the image above). Great for imitating real instruments. You can imitate brass, plucked, string sounds and noise (drums!). Oscillator 2 and 3 can work as wind tube, resonating box or exciter. Tone option is basically a soft filter, actually more useful than regular filter. I only wish Uhe added large modulation matrix! Now you can only modulate one parameter with one controller. Shame, but still really great.

One of those synths where all the sounds are super weird. If you're just looking for something that makes pleasant and straightforward pads, basses, leads etc then look elsewhere.

hmmm, something's not right for fruity wrapper... caused a critical error and it is strongly adviced? that was very sad

Very unique, but I love the sound it makes. It has a weird, infected organic analog feel if that makes any sense.
