GTA is a vintage style character compressor, designed like its muscle car name-sake for brute power, pure speed and to make a loud noise.
It is stripped down for ease of use and has a unique vintage colouring on top.
GTA is a peak compressor featuring super-fast attack and release times and has a wide range of threshold, ratio and output boost as well as a wet/dry mix for NY compression. The metering covers input, output and gain reduction, showing both real-time and peak levels.

- Vintage style Peak compressor with parallel compression and comprehensive metering.
- Subtle colouring from a home-made blend of harmonics, saturation and dynamic noise.
- Ultra-fast attack and release times.
- Wet/Dry mix control allows phase-free blending of dry uncompressed signal for NY style parallel compression.
- Distortion reduction for very short release times.
- Metering covers stereo input, output and gain reduction. All meters show actual and peak levels.
- Adjustable peak meter hold time.
- Non-linear knobs for precise control at small values.

I am using it a lot. especially if I want to dirty some too clean sound. I've used it in a couple of high-pitched fast arpeggios and I really liked how it turned out. Also on plates.
WHAOO, this compressor is great, it does compress simply by adding it like it is without endlessly tweaking it to get the right compress, very good for a lazy bagger like me, I can put it like it almost on every tracks of mine, and it will do good job without me taking care of it, I could go on holliday with this and let it do the job by itself,THANKS GUYS

Brilliant compressor, I can't understand the negative reviews. I have only used it on channel tracks so far, and it sounds just as good as my paid for ones.

Harsh and sibilant. Suppose it works ok though.

The fast attack and release are good, but, no sidechain options... why?

Excellent Plugin. It has an 1176- like sound with an own touch. It's a great alternative to the phantastic "antress- seventh- sign". With the build- in wet/dry knob it's easy to create NY- style- compression (great for the drum bus). This plugin is a little bit like the "FET- compressor" from s*ftt*b*. Only the behaviour of the realease knob is a little bit strange...
