Transcendental 2000 is based on the Powertran Transcendent 2000, a diy kit synthesizer from 1978.
The front panel is a replica of the original except for the program manager and the page buttons on the right. Being to scale makes some of the labels a little hard to read (unless you have a screen large enough to scale it up to its original 26" width) but the knobs are fairly standard, the switches which operate some of the most important modes of the keyboard are less so. Below are descriptions for these switches.

Not at all a fan of the sound, I really wanted one of these when the original was available in kit form; I'm really pleased I didn't get one, so thanks for saving me money!

The other unforgivable sin is not having Transcendental 2000 installed in your computer.

I'm not concerned if this perfectly matches the original hardware synth so just looking at this as a free VST plugin, I think it's great. It is large, has nice visuals, great selection of controls and panels and a large possibility of sound creation. It really shouldn't have such low marks (especially if people aren't looking for this era of sound).
This is actually a good emu, and Trans is becoming pop again in dubstep and techno, it never left-to 80's? someone says LOL, why are they looking in vintage synths then.

I've actually played a couple of the hardware versions. One well built and one, well all I can say is it was in a second hand store for good reason.
Generally close but something about the filter not quite the same.

Not very good for me, but I recommand it to new wave fan. Too 80s for me.

I don't like its sound, it's too "bass 80 analog", sound not very good for 70s sound.
