S7 is a very simple single oscillator synthesizer.
A no frills easy to use analogue style synthesizer for when that simple sound is required. Be creative and add a few effects to it in your HOST and Enjoy.

It's bad, and that makes it good

I'll save you a download: This is more of a Tone Generator than a synthesizer. And even as a single oscillator synth, it has plenty of issues. Firstly, it is made in SynthEdit using stock components. This is not necessarily bad, as highly polished synths in SynthEdit/SynthMaker can be surprisingly usable. This particular synth probably took less than an hour to make and wasn't really tested. It has no LFO or filter envelope, but it has an Amplifier ADSR envelope, and the filter cutoff and resonance can be controlled. However, the filter controls sound very bad, and the parameter ranges were poorly chosen and should have been tweaked for them to be more usable. Also, the Tune knob also behaves very poorly and only goes to -/+ 10 semitones rather than 12. Surprisingly, pitch bend works, but Modwheel does nothing (could have at least provided vibrato!). All in all, this is worse and less usable than Steinberg Neon, which says a lot.
