Seems like a really high quality compressor. Very transparent. Nice and simple too. Very low cpu usage. Makes a glitching sound momentarily when you switch it to bypass.

Good points: The visualisation part is fantastic for those who are just starting to learn about compression. You get to both hear and SEE what the compressor is doing according to your settings. There's enough to play with here and it should satisfy most needs. Things which can be improved upon: There is no way to set attack. There's only a "soft" attack button and that's pretty much it. I know the compressor has a look-ahead feature but it doesn't always seem to do much. Sometimes the compression sounds like it clips the waveform. I have used other compressors with identical settings with no such issues. Conclusion: fun to use; really sweet visualisation, but listen carefully to the output.

Sans doute l'un des plus simples et efficaces des compresseurs . Merci aux développeurs et aux administrateurs du site pour cette pépite .

The best compressor I've ever used. And if support stereo too, will be excellent.

Incredible audio- quality. Nearly as good as my beloved commercial "ren- vox". I use it on vocals: In the first instance "PeakCompressor" with ratio 3:1 and in the second instance the "Antress Firechainer" with a fast setting. Then I try to balance the two compressors. This combination will deliver you a very, very transparent "in- your- face" vocal sound just for free.

Extremely transparent, no audible distortion. The best-ever display on a compressor, as you can punch in very good starting settings by view. The compressor + limiter doublette is a brilliant idea. I've been using this for vocals ever since it came out.
