HyBrit Head is an hybrid amp model based on two famous British gears.
The PLS channel is actually an hybrid of the two (tweaked) channels (Normal and Treble) of the real thing. Both channels are actually processed and the mix of the two signals can be adjusted through the PLS MIX knob. The other channel, MCJ, is also a tweaked version of the real thing. So, this amp simulator doesn't represent anything specifically but it does have the character of the British amp.

I actually really love this plugin. Now I am 100% a recto guy and also love 5150/6505+/VH4, you know 6l6 stuff. But I wanted to try and build an Adam J. tone as well as a Jerry C, and on its own its got a nice chunkiness and sizzle to it which is a nice difference to my normal tones. Best marsh tone ive found on here so far!
Comment installer le plugin Hybrit dans Amplitube 5 ?

This sounds awesome; with a good IR much better than any other British (even paid) VSTs
Unfortunately I am unable to activate any plugin on logic pro except for LeCab. any suggestions? restarted my mac, reseted plugin manager... nothing

Potentially a very good amp sim; unfortunately, the 64bit version is worse than the 32bit one. I had to switch to a different plexi/jcm simulator.
Was it free? What was it called?
If you need old style plexi/jtm45 sound, go with "Jamp" by analog obsession; if you need jcm800, go with taranov's "JessieMX100". Both free.
The x86 and x64 sound exactly the same, you are incorrect. I null tested it and verified exact same.
It could be... so I wonder why many have spotted that same issue at the time, if that's an issue at all, at this point. Still, when I need some Plexi-ish tones, I prefer other simulators.
Hi there! I can't seem to get hybrit.component to load into Logic even though I know I installed it into the plug-ins>components library folder. Any help you can provide would be great!
Hi there! I downloaded the .component and the .vst files and put them in the folders you mentioned. ONLY after I restarted my MacBook, the plugin showed up. worth a try my friend :)

The best free Marshall amp vst out there. Prefer this over many paid vst's. Clear and punchy tones can be achieved with the right IR's. Warning. Get the 32 bit version over the 64 bit as they differ in quality.

GREAT plugin. I can't believe how this plugin is free. Much better than bias fx 2's jcm 800 simulation. One of my fav. plugins of all time.
Logic Pro X - OS CATALINA doesn't recognize the plugins.

Sorry, cant get it to sound good, sounds really broken up and sharp
listen, you have to get a cabinet simulator as well.
Vc indica um simulador de gabinete pra usar com ele?
Why the hell won't it download as a component file?

Warning: I've compared the sound of both the 32-bit and 64-bit versions of this amp, and they are not the same. The sound from the 32-bit is a lot sharper and crisp than the 64-bit version. I recommend people with 64-bit DAWs get the 32-bit version and use a program like jBridge to run it in the 64-bit DAW.
Man, I just tried them both in LMMS with the exact same settings and you're spot on! The 32bit sounds a lot richer, cleaner and has a nicer warmer tone to it, also a bit louder too, the 64 sounds a lot harsher like the treble is cranked up more. I noticed a similar issue with the Drum pro vst the 32bit sounded better than the 64bit to me. I use this vst a fair bit it's great for guitars so thanks for that heads up mate nice one. :)
Is this the same with all of his 32bit and 64bit plugins?
@Xenogen You are talking absolute nonsense! They are the same whether x86 and x64. I null tested and verified this.

Brilliant, I love it, works fantastic with Reaper. Thanks.
How did you get it to open in reaper? I downloaded it but it doesn't want to install... am I missing something?
It has to be in your VST folder with your other .dll files. Then open a new project, add a channel, hit fx, 'fx' in top left, 'scan for new plugins', should be loaded into your list. Go under 'new'.

It's okay given that it is for free, the eq does very little however the overdrive works very well.
None of the controls do anything at all. The head plugin works but not this one.

Sounds damn cool with proper IRs and effects. LePou plugs are amazing.
It's all about proper gain srructure. Great SIM
Stumbled onto this excellent vst. I have dabbled with the LePou stuff before and was impressed. I use Bias, GR-5, Amplitube-5, Helix native, and others and own them all. This free M@r$hall plugin hangs with them effortlessly. Just use an impulde response behind it in your DAW and you have a beautiful amp sim.
