Pro SoloVst reproduces the monophonic analog preset synthesizer ARP Pro Soloist.
The sound engine of the Pro SoloVst is a software emulation of the real analog algorithms implemented inside the original instrument: VCO, resonators, filters, VCF, VCA and analog effects. So you can hear and feel analog-like warm sounds coming out from a set of 30 voices corresponding to the presets of the synthesizer.

Any chance anyone has the AU version of this plugin? I've read on other sites that it exists, but I can't find it anywhere!

Parfait, il y a de quoi faire. Bon, on ne peut pas jouer des nappes
mais sinon il est simplement parfait.
This one is quite good, using it a lot in Linux/Wine/OpenMPT, using MIDI macro for Channel Aftertouch for "brightness". No need for presets, get funky!
help I can't assign midi button to control the button on the vst

Hi Adrian, I would be very grateful if you could advise which programme or app should be used with this VST please?

I can't say enough good things about AM Music Technology... All three of their vst plugins on vstforfree are outstanding... Would be nice if I could get them on my Logic Pro... Have been enjoying all three of them on my windows laptop though...
I am also wondering if there will ever be a Mac version of this VST, I would definitely be willing to pay to get it, it's imply amazing and I'd love to have it in my collection!!!
Hello! Could you recommend which app/ programme to run the Pro soloist on please? Many thanks, Rick

The pdf that comes with the VSTi says: "Any configuration of the synthesizer is storable in up to 128 programs and can be reloaded through midi program change". How? Any ideas? Thx.

This vst is astonishingly modeled both in the looks and the sound. I can't compare to the real thing because i never encountered with one, but being a Genesis fan i downloaded this right away and started playing all my favourite songs with this, and let me tell you, through some effects like compressor, delay and reverb you can get excellent sounds of this VST. VERY GOOD!
SO happy to hear this.... guess why I'm downloading this thingy... :) time to look for some background MIDI and learn the In The Cage solo, one thing off my bucket list ;)
.. not forgetting of course, the fantastic melodic line of Steely Dan's 'King of the World'
Yes! I've read Donald Fagen saying that working with that synth was a nightmare since it constantly went out of tune - and that's why they didn't use almost any synths on their later albums.
I downloaded and installed this vst synth and it appears to work all but for the ability to control the attack, decay ,release etc... any ideas? thanks
Don't forget the early Vangelis albums like Heaven and Hell is ProSoloist all over :) He's such a master of this little preset synth!
And don't forget the incredible solo in Cinema Show.

Lots of fun patching this in LMMS to play old Genesis MIDIs: Riding the Scree = Telstar + Portamento + Octave Up 1 then switch to Fuzz Guitar 1

My dad used to have one of these. I played it for years, first just messing around as a kid, and then later once I had some nice effects to run it through it sounded really nice on some of my own tracks. It's been years since I've played it, but these really do sound pretty close to what I recall. I remember the trombone sounding nicer, but I'm fairly spoiled now with all this digital stuff. Unfortunately he dumped it at a garage sale like 15 years ago with the ARP Omni2. Some lucky enthusiast has it now. At least he still has his B3 and Rhodes!
It's a pleasure to retrieve those sounds that Tony Banks used in Genesis Seconds Out live for example.

This is great, especially if you add a bit of reverb. Wonderful for reproducing those early Genesis synth sounds!
