Make use of MIDI velocity to this thing. Playing the octaves 3 or lower on "yer trakhah", add reverb *then* distortion is very good for experimental and gothic-type stuff. Just don't assume it's a piano. I made a song which had it emulating a piano but the detuning was VERY BAD. It was my fault. I thought it sounded cool when I rendered it.
Beautiful tones, but description is misleading. Not very harsh of tones, but great atmospheres
"...aggressive and strange..." does not imply harsh.
