Poly 2106 is a classic vintage performance synth.
The Poly 2106 initially started off as a recreation of a true object of desire from the
fashionable 80´s that was once part of our studio, but that was just the initial kick that propelled a seemingly more enthusiastic project which culminated into a knob infested creation with a solid vintage backbone, so for a long time we didn’t spare ourselves in the effort of breathing life into a machine which is a breed of everything we would like to see in a true performance synthesizer, something close to the vision of our personal nirvana that now we are ready to share to everyone, our only hope is that you too find it as much as rewarding as we did…

Poly 2106 sounds like a Juno 106 that has been snogging Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Lee, and Vin Diesel for years. Unbeatable.

Though somewhat dated and 32 bit, this synth is one of my favorite, whether free or paid! Great 80s tones! I love it!

I love SynthScience plugins. Great sounds and gorgeous and simple looks!

BRILLIANT. Classic sounds, and lots of tweaking options.

It's a great synth, as well as all other FX from this developer. They are so well-made, I really like the perfect design that fits UI as needed. It's clean & compact. I guess it's the exact synth that has been used to write music for a game called "Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic". Bot there are downsides: - Only 32 bit (usually means that development has stopped & no fixes coming). - Interface is really small & you can't adjust the size. (musthave even on 1080P, not even 2K & 4K monitors). - It hangs up in Reaper v6.36 when I try to edit notes in MIDI editor. This was the most important thing & I couldn't fix it. So I can't rely on a plugin that might somehow ruin my projects and waste my time every time I use it, even if it sounds so well. All the FX plugins look great to me too. I really wish these plugins to be updated <3

I can't believe I slept on this for so long ! Fantastic synth !

Whoah - DARK HORSE synth! Just when you think "ANOTHER knock-off analog.." this little beastie just - slips out!? That is it - I am a DEDICATED vst4free.com miner from now on! This isn't on any 'Best of" list, which makes it a BEST KEPT SECRET! I went over and hit on these devs other synth here - Prodigious, and it is equally STUNNING. When I became disabled, I couldn't afford to keep any of my instruments - the pawnshop ate them and so the music kind of disappeared from my life. Devs like this have given the music back, and for that I give a BIG SHOUT OUT!!! Thanks!

Не пойму, почему такой ажиотаж вокруг этого говна? Хуже не встречал инструмента, если ЭТо можно назвать таковым...
Why do you call this "shit?" Give a legitimate response!

WOW, im getting back into music after 20 odd years, im new to DAWs and vst ect, but this vst just blew me away, easy to use, GREAT Arpeggiator with a FAT classic synth sound, lots of presets to keep you busy. settings can be adjusted via midi.

Nice emulation! The chorus isn't too far away either. We like!

Impressive

A very impressive sounding emulation of the Roland Juno 106. Great job, Synthescience!

Absolutely a Musthave for composers! Includes lots of nice pads & synth strings and sounds so professional that you might think this must be commercial stuff, but hey, this 110% clean quality synth is 100% free !!! Grabbing the freeby now is clever, or u might miss it forever !!!

This one sounds beautiful too! And very professional!

What a nice full spectrum emulation. Brilliant synth. Amazing sonic quality for free. How I wish Synthescience would come back...

Love everything about it- except the repeated crashing in REAPER... it loads OK, but start changing parameters, and REAPER's plugin host chokes. Deleted the instance, reloaded, same thing. 5/5 otherwise.
Well in vsthost it runs without any issue.
That is unfortunate Mister Duckett. Perhaps You should try running Poly 2106 in a host plugin (a host=plugin within a host=DAW) like ImageLine Minihost Modular (free), Niall Moody Pedalboard 2 (free), CtrlBrk VstBoard (free), DDMF Metaplugin (paid), Blue Cat Audio PatchWork (paid), it is surely worth it, because Poly 2106 sounds awesome! Enjoy!

Really an awesome and analogue sounding softsynth. You can tell and hear that a lot of hard work was put into this plugin.

I owned a 106 for a few years. I was instantly back at that keyboard when I played this vst. Great job.
LA VERDAD , MUY BUENO , MUCHAS GRACIAS
Crashed my otherwise stable system after flicking through a few good sounding presets. Think my 1.8g dual celeron, 2g RAM system couldn't handle it. So be mindful folks.
Unfortunately You will have to get a better computer, because Poly 2106 is not a lightweight plugin. High Quality comes at a price.

The best emulator of juno 106
This is one of the best emulations I've ever heard! And I'm hard to please, but you've really done a very fine job all round. If or when you do mark II, please do add some effects. Meanwhile, thanks a lot for all the hard work! It's paid off.

Nice presets, nice UI, huge possibilities!

Some excellent presets, fun.

Almost as awesome as prodigious.

Great synth, only lack effect.

This is the Juno 106 i have waited for! This synth has a beefier sound than the UNO-106. With effects the guys at Roland would be shocked to see this plugin. A million props to Synthescience for making this badass vst. 5 out of 5 indeed!
The TAL synth emulates Juno60 not 106. Two similar but separate synths starting from the waveforms.
