The Prodigious synthesizer is based around the design of a famous synthesizer of the past.
Enhanced with a few extras that perfectly complements its original vintage character. The concept is rather simple, two oscillators that can be self modulated by a third non audio oscillator (FM synthesis capability..) one fat 24db lowpass filter with self oscillation capabilities (and with the possibility of being modulated by the second oscillator, flexibility increased), dedicated envelopes for filter and volume countour, a powerful and flexible arpegiator for those moments where the fingers are simply not that fast (just kidding..), a chorus effect section with three distinctively rich chorus modes (to ticken up things a bit) and to finalize a delay unit to bring out those spacey sounds to the front. It is fully midi automatable too...
The Prodigious Synthesiser is also fully packed with 128 factory presets that really shows some if its power. Basses, Leads, Pads, Strings, Keys, Arpegiated and something in the between its all there for you to try.

So - these devs synths are SNEAKY! They are quite unassuming in appearance and get camouflaged by all the many other Analog knock offs, many vanilla or just weak without a signal-boost. This synth and their other gift - the STUNNING Poly 2106 are things of BEAUTY. These are legit pro instruments. A lot of time freebies are teaser demos or crippled payware, but the dev community thanfully IS populated by creators that can be a bit more - heartfelt... Lucky for us!

ORGASM
DOUBLE ORGASM, I should say - POLY2106 + PRODIGIUS. 100% agree with you

Easily one of the best free VSTi on the market! But, damn, the GUI is small!
It would be nice if someone plan to create a bigger GUI ;-)
That depends on DAW you use (if you use one...). Some can exchange the VST's GUI with something more simplified yet fully functional. Check the options.

Another very impressive sounding emulation of the Moog Prodigy from the great Synthescience. I too would really love to see more classic vintage synth emulations from Synthescience! <3

Just like their Poly 2106, this Prodigious synth sounds brilliant. Awesome sounds coming out of this synth. Amazing! A superb emulation!

There is simply no way I can possibly fully describe the awesomeness that is Prodigious, by SynthScience. I cannot fully do it justice in words. This is the thickest, fattest synth I've ever played on, hardware analog aside. It comes VERY close. Otherworldly. Swirling. Citrusy. Deliscious. Spacious. 80s. Those are the best descriptors I can come up with. Try it NOW!

Another very high quality softsynth from Synthescience. Man, how I wish those talents from Synthescience did a Minimoog or a Prophet 5 or an OB-X or a Jupiter 8 emulation! Easily a 5 out of 5 synth! Synthescience for the win!!

This has to be the fattest plugin I ever played ! Hey, Synthscience how about creating an emulation of a Arp Quadra. Prodigious is the best. If Dr. Moog were alive he would be surprised at this plugin. Thanks Synthscience!
