PhaseBug's primary function is to shift the phase of an audio signal.
This is a critical function in fixing source signals that have phase errors in relation to one another, which can cause inappropriate cancellation or reinforcement of frequencies in a mix.

Just the job, thanks! I'm remixing an old track I collaborated on when I had less experience producing/mixing, and my friend's acoustic guitar was recorded badly (by me). Its phasing was crap; sounded horrible. This put it nicely in phase :)
It shifts HORIZONTALLY the audio, I mean, the wave form to the right, or silences its 1st 20 ms – or so. Therefore (& again) it DEsyncs the audio track of a video! Too bad it's so old / guess the author will never correct the bug...

This is definitely the most versatile phase plugin ever made and freely available, BUT one have to know exactly what he is doing: ya can set individual phase shift for LR channels separately...unique as fug!!! @MAX: u r fucgin idiot having no clue what he's talking about - with the FLStudio native plugin YOU CANNOT MANIPULATE SEPARATE CHANNELS INDIVIDUALLY for god's sake, stupiditto amigo, with this plugin YOU CAN...gee, ya talking bout things ya have no clue about, dude!
I'm so glad you're happy with the plugin, it just has no benefit for me. Calm down, one day someone will carry back to you all the blows you are dealing out.

Hi & THANKS! "PhaseBug" did exactly what I needed, to my heavily phase shifted waveform – thus preventing any amplification, equalizing, etc., without saturation! Though I don't really know what I'm doing, when modifying audio streams – and although I agree that any kind of beginner should be exterminated at once –, my heavyfooted use of this VST (simple/basic "bubble at 3 o'clock" setting on a mono wave, by "PhB. mono" in that case), just DID the job: in a snap. Only, I ended up with a few ms of horizontal shift, that forced me to do some fixing afterwards, in order to get rid of the echo effect. So far (just discovered the tool), I haven't been able to determine if it's due to "PhaseBug" itself, or to the host editor... Thanks very much again, for that easy and EFFICIENT tool!

Unpacking the .ZIP yields an .EXE installer. The VST (0.9beta, released in 2005) is relatively old. Comes with a manual. Tried in FL Studio 12. Plugin worked as described, i.e. shifted phase of left vs. right stereo channel, but some serious stability issues were encountered (crashed DAW several times). The phase shifting effect can also be achieved using the 'Phase' knob in Fruity Stereo Shaper (FL Studio-native plugin; set to 45 % for 180 phase shift), making PhaseBug superfluous. Uninstaller included, but does not remove all files.

I can't say for sure. But on a first look it's great!
