Needs to be updated and 64-bit. Was great when it worked for me. Great on drums, vox, bass.

Sounds great in parallel with drums. It would really benefit from 64-bit version and some visual updates would be great
Use jBridger for turning it into 64-bit. I use it this way in ableton. It's two clicks thing.

Really!!! I copied the dll to my VST file, I can't even find it in my plugins list, I'm running Studio 1 Ver 5 Artist which is suppose to allow 3rd party plugins to work mmm somethings not quite right here!
Mark, Studio One is a 64 bit program which means it only supports 64 bit VST's. All of the Antress Modern Plugins are 32 bit which is why people have been begging for years for a 64 bit update. If you would like to use 32 bit plugins, jBridge is sold for i believe $15 and it will host your 32 bit plugins in Studio One and any other DAW that doesn't provide 32 bit support. Hope this helps.
Studio One 64 bit runs 32 bit plug-ins too.
Nope, Studio One doesn't support 32-bit plug-ins!

Super great free plugin. Not as good as hardware, but it does actually sound similar.

The distortion is so mild it does not quality for a Distressor clone.
This one is the more transparent one.

Lives on Kick and Snare! More interesting sounding than Waves Rcomp, but doesn't do everything either.

cant understand why this got low score. I reach 4 it when something need some crunch. YouTube tutorial maker Sadowich made a video about it explaining it far better than i can on a modern DAW the CPU hit is very low making it a serious contendenter as a channel Compressor.

Great comp, the Modern series plugins i always come back to better than any ive ever used
Wow!! Great Compressor I LOve DeathCore Ratio!! Thank you!!
I am in love with this! it tightens up a snare very well, it gives great nice smooth distortion to vocals and bass while compressing. Just what i needed! I don't know what the real distressor sounds like, but i know this plugin sounds smooth and tight :) Thanks a lot and i'll be sure to support when i'm able to!

Works great on distorted guitars, either for extreme metal or Boston style tones. I usually place it before the amp sim.

One of the most interesting comps out there. I never had a Distressor but this has various types of comps to select, all are different all behave in different manner. Impressive.

I can't say if it's a good emulation. But i really can say this a great compressor!
VERY impressive! As close as you're going to get to a Distressor in a VST, IMHO.
