TheDrumSource is a sample based drum machine.
It has a sequencer and a built in sample browser. It looks and "feels" like a classic (x0x) hardware drum machine. TheDrumSource is designed with the purpose to be very simple and easy to work with even if you are used to work with hardware drum machines or not. The built in sample browser in TheDrumsource makes it very easy to navigate through your samples. The sequencer can be running when looking for new samples. You will hear the sample the moment you selects it. There is also a quick button to select the previous and next sample in the same directory as the current selected sample. TheDrumsource has a very short time to get started on making your beats.

Gracias
Il a un comportement un peu bizzarre mais j'arrive à le faire en cliquant parfois 2 fois sur le temps et ça marche, en mode Run.

Can not change pattern during playback.
TDS has a vintage flavour and sound indeed! Unfortunately no way to record any sound in modes RUN or SYNC. Only in mode MIDI it can be recorded manually via a midi keyboard but still its arpeggio does not sync the TDS. Any ideas? Is it feasible to record in RUN/SYNC modes? I tried different recording options and settings in Cubase 10, FruityLoops 8, and Audacity.

Simply the best Drum VSTi!!! Simple gui, sounds great and the swing is sick!!!
Revisiting after three years - forgot that I even wrote those requests for help LOL. I managed to figure it all out, and used this software a lot. Love it, especially being able to use your own samples. On the negative side, no option for adding multiple samples to create 'round robin". Otherwise, a very wonderful, versatile, powerful program with ability to use your own samples to create your own kits. And you can save as presets, so you could set up more than one kit and save as presets.
Constantly crashes Reaper.

Awesome! User friendly once u've messed around on it a bit. Left click resizes it, I like that. Tends to crash my daw sometimes but for the most part it's pretty fuckin great. It's a 5

Now that I figured out, finally, how to get my host to record the patterns when multiple patterns are used, I can give this five stars.. awesome plugin, love the fact that you can use your own samples, rather than the usual synthetically-created drum kits.
Does anyone know how to get two or more patterns to save and to play? I can set up one pattern and assign it to the "C" button on the right (near the button that lets you choose 1/4 or 1/8 or 1/60 time,etc)... and can assign a different pattern to the "C#" button... I can play them in turn, BUT... it will not save that info to the piano roll or to the midi track. When I play the track back in synch, it merely plays the one pattern that is currently selected. Thanks in advance if anyone can help :)
Love the sounds, love the ease of use in "run" mode. however, cannot get it to "record" in synch mode. Will play in synch mode, but nothing gets recorded, even if I try using "step record" mode (I am using Adobe Audition v3). When I press the "outputs" button, it toggles between 1 and 12 (1 plays the whole kit, while 12 only plays the kick drum, but neither gets recorded by the host software) Any ideas or suggestions? Thanks in advance :)
