Twisted Energy is an analogue modelled 3 oscillator synth with extensive modulation properties designed for modern day music production.
The synth is designed to make it easy to create dark techno basses, modulating atmospheres/pads, scorching lead sounds, and gated/arpeggiated sequences.

- 3 analogue modelled oscillators each with 5 waveforms (Sine, Triangle, Saw, Square, Noise).
- Visual feedback for each oscillator in the main display showing level, shape of wave, and how each oscillators wave is being effected.
- 2 Filters each with 4 modes (Low Pass, High Pass, Band Pass, Band Reject).
- Envelope Generator for each oscillator (Linked to Envelope Generator Matrix).
- Envelope Generator Matrix allows each oscillators EG to control and effect selected elements of the synth such as Filter Cutoff and Resonance, and amplitude. The Matrix makes it possible to really customise your sound.
- Master envelope generator.
- 3 LFOs (One per oscillator) all linked into the LFO Matrix. Each LFO has 4 waveforms (Sine, Saw, Triangle, Square).
- LFO Matrix allows each LFO to control multiple parameters of the synth including Amplitude, Fine Tune, PWM, Cutoff and Resonance for both filters.
- Reverb effect.
- Delay effect with tempo sync.
- Overdrive control to warm up the sound.
- 16 step gate sequencer.
- GUI Designed to make working with the synth easy and logical.
- 20 Presets.
- Very low CPU usage.

Very tasteful design. Looks awesome. Missed a mono switch. Could also use a voice limiter.
Ridiculous: No realtime changing of the sound while using knobs. To hear the results I had to hit a key again. Realtime is a must have. Has a onboard reverb effect (although the presets been too wet for my taste). But it's definitely rather a pro instead of a con to have a onboard reverb of course. Since I could not get this thing to work from the start, I loaded this thing in energyXT which complained in detail which *.dll was missing in my Windows/System32-folder. I had to pull those missing dll's from dll-files.com: snmpapi.dll, api-ms-win-core-debug-l1-1-1.dll, api-ms-win-core-heap-l1-2-0.dll, api-ms-win-core-errorhandling-l1-1-1.dll, api-ms-win-core-libraryloader-l1-1-1.dll, api-ms-win-core-sysinfo-l1-2-0.dll, api-ms-win-core-interlocked-l1-2-0.dll, api-ms-win-core-processthreads-l1-1-1.dll . Nonetheless 4 stars. Thank you Twisted Beats for your effort.

This thing is only missing a pitch envelope to make it absolutely incredible. Has a very strong sound. Kind of a sleeper hit for me. Love the lfo power.

This is freaking awesome!!! The vst doesn't have many presets, if that's what you're looking for. The interface is clean, it is very organized. Give it a try!

Great plug-in! If you're a preset player and don't like the presets, that doesn't mean the synth is bad, it means you should learn to tweak synths. I've gotten many great and very usable sounds out of this one. Recomended!

Struggling to get this working with ableton 9 - can anyone help?
I find it hilarious that people aren't satisfied with the sounds: 1- It's free. 2- You can adjust the sound yourself. 3- If you're a good producer, you can make the 'poor' sounds sound fantastic. Thank you very much for the free VST, it's amazing! All you people making disparaging remarks, keep practicing :)
