ProtoPlasm Pro is a pad and texture synthesizer.
- 1 dedicated Attack Oscillator with 128 waveforms controllable by adjustable velocity amount.
- Super Modulation Morphing via Mod Wheel at selectable rows for the Mod Matrix.
- Modulation Matrix for LFOs with positive and negative inputs.
- LKO system for delay with four key-dependant modes.
- 3 digital PCM-wave oscillators powered by 128 different waveforms (123 new ones).
- Each oscillator's level can be modulated by different sources via mod matrix.
- 1 LP filter (24db Lowpass) with ADSR EG, Filter FM and keytracking.
- 1 HP filter (12db Hipass) with ADSR EG, Filter FM and keytracking.
- 2 shapeable LFO with pattern-like waveforms (BPM-synced).
- 1 LFO with 21 complex waveforms and free speed adjustment.

This VSTi have some excellent presets, very inspiring for soundtracks and background drones. Wonderful work !

Presets are great without any tweaking but they are a bit cheesy and unoriginal. These two plugins are romplers actually. Not very good for music production but almost ideal for videogame soundtracks.
Easy to use (for a H G Fortune synth, at least), with some great pad sounds. You easilly make your own. This is clean sounding and highly recommended!

Little issue in fl studio, if you save a project with this plugin with any preset that isn't the base one (that is active when you firs open the vst) when you open the project again it's going to play the sound of the base preset instead of your preset, it isn't a big deal, but for people like me who play live, I happened to forget to reselect the preset and it made everything go wrong in the song, gotta always remember to leave fl studio open with this fixed before I even go play. Anyway it's not a big deal, but it's just sort of annoying, 4/5 for this. Putting this issue aside, this is a great vst, it's simple, even someone not much experienced can figure it out, it sounds great, if this was a paid vst it would totally be worth it.
HG is no more, please have a little thought when using his plugins.
I know, I wans't hating on the vst, I love it, and love all his other ones, I was just pointing out an issue for people that use this futurely, but I've found my way around this issue recently, you just have to save as a new bank instead of an inst.
or just record it to wav when don't want to tweak it further

Easy and good. beauty.
Probably the easiest of the HG Fortune synths to use, and provides more usable sounds as well. Some good dark pads and ambiences to be had. Prefer this to the other HGF stuff.

This is great for sweet sounding space pads. I really like the soundsources here and it's relativelly easy to tweak to your own liking. Connect it with you favorite delay, phaser and reverb to sweeten it even more!
