Cmon, i had this for so long and yesterday i started a shootout because i needed something on the master us for that "Glue" effect after referencing on some old mono speaker.(mixing on headphones). I know this is subjective, and based on our emotions and energy level and all that stuff, vitamin D also, but right now i have Cytomic "The Glue" against this thing and it is a real fight! I could not make Kotelnikov work for me, or the V-Comp, or the Limiter6, or the RComp but this for Techno/lots of percs and reverb, delay kinda works wonders. (I also tried SunRuys, TAN, which work ok). I also like D Cam FreeComp, MjucJr and for some reason that Arsenal Compressor LE and for small touches DensityMKII.(Ill add that IK Supercharger too). If you are beginner, try stuff on this list and pick, i think this is a narrow down from al last 30 buss comps(so far). Thanks
I'd vouch for DCAM & Density mkIII for buss processing duties, for sho.

Update, this compressor has just retired my $29 black and silver compressor, no contest.

I've found this plugin can really pull a mix together when used on a full mix. A slower release time tends tuck in all the elements, leaving nothing poking out. I believe Redamption can out perform many commercial bus compressors.

What do feedback & feedforward do? Those are the only 2 controls I'm confused about. (Note: I'm a musician, not an engineer. Perhaps a musician has no need to know about such things.)
Here is the best explanation I was able to found; hope that helps:

Feedforward and feedback refer to the two main types of compressor "architectures". A compressor's main parts being the detector/sidechain and the input/output audio path, a feedforward compressor has the input feeding the detector while a feedback compressor has the output (Already compressed signal) feeding the detector, resulting in a more 'musical' or 'smoother' compressing experience.

In Reaper veru high cpu when direct input is not fed:((

Use your ears, the compressor is awesome for vocals, drums, gtr - pretty much whatever you throw at it. Lots of knobs but they actually do what they are supposed to.

Probably one of the best and most powerful compressors I've ever seen. Does miracles, especially if you're using it for metal.

One of the bests compressors that I used!
