Unlimited is a loudness maximizer and limiter for stereo and 5.1 surround material.
It also offers an ITU-R BS.1770 compliant loudness meter in addition to RMS output meters.
Unlimited aims to have balanced characteristics: avoiding audible distortion typical to hard limiting and clipping to the extent it is feasible, yet still not sounding compressed or vigorless.
Even though it supports 5.1 configuration, normal stereo operation is fully supported and the additional channels won't consume any CPU when they are not in use.

No interface. just sliders mode in Reaper. On home Computer. On work comp-- perform allll picselZ :)))
Dunno why, I placed the dll file in the vst folder (I use reaper) yet it doesnt work
Have you tried clearing cache/re-scanning? Also, something that set me back a whole morning was that if you put multiple directories into your Preferences, you need to separate them with a semicolon *without* a space, else Reaper won't pick them up.

Simple. Effective. Transparent. Outstanding plugin really. Having a transparent limiter is extremely important at times, and professional in sound design will concur. The fact a plugin of such a high standard is offered for free is incredible. There are some ridiculous reviews saying that this plugin is 'too big'. The plugin is re-sizeable. I use it with comfort both on laptop and my main rig.
The GUI is supposed to be resizeable but the bottom of the plugin is off my laptop screen so I can't drag the bottom right to make it smaller.
Anyone know where I can the user guide for this plugin?

I used this limiter a lot before I bought pro-l2 and i must say it's really good. You can get very far with this plugin.
Is it noticeably worse than Pro L2?
I wouldn't say it's "worse" than Pro-L2, but Pro-L2 just has a lot more different modes, so it ends up being the first choice more often for me

The best free limiter, by far! Slide the response slider a bit to the right and you get a super clean sound with all the transients. True peak works perfect. It won't make your track super loud but it will never sound unpleasant either.

What a great limiter. Very transparent but can gently saturate drums too. Love the accurate VU when I only do 1-2 DB drop which is normally hard to hear.

I am a sworn devotee to Tls_Maximizer and have been for over a decade. Hands down the best free loudness maximizer out there... until now. Unlimited performs just as good and it's 64bit so now I don't have to bridge Tls. Unreal.

excellent limiter, but it's f'n HUGE. even after scaling to the smallest allowed size, it's still 11" tall on my screen. all of their plugs are like that, but this one is the worst. sounds great tho. maybe i'll put it on a second screen across the street. Would be nice of SA to blast out some normal size versions of their plugs.

Late reply, but this plugin is resizable. Just grab a bottom right corner with your mouse and drag it to your preferable size. :)

I've chucked so much money after the magic button mastering limiters - the last one being Ozone elements and it sucks. This beauty, when treated tenderly, creates loud but detailed masters that don't make your ears tired (although that is available if you want it). I love Limiter6 (again so much better over the Waves and Ozone plugins) but this for me feels like the Holy Grail. The addition of the LUFS monitor saves me have loads more plugins open. The interface is freaking awesome. THANK YOU!!!

This is special in a lot of ways.... glues everything together without distortion (nothing that will ruin the song, I mean). I am using Unlimited on my master bus after MHorse P3 MKII.... I am happy with the results.

Brighter than LoudMax but you can't push it as hard.
Sort of agreed about pushing it hard. To me it's because Loudmax, and lots of limiters will "seemlessly" distorts everything easily in exchange to get the loudness level wanted. I found this limiter will act better on my more balanced mixes.
